Single & Thriving: How to own Valentine’s Day

Ahhh, Valentine’s Day. The one day a year that reminds single gals everywhere that we’re, well… single as fuck. While the loved-up masses flood our social feeds with romantic dinners, surprise getaways and way too many flower deliveries (seriously, how many roses does one girl need?), the rest of us are left rolling our eyes and sipping wine straight from the bottle. But who says we can’t make the day our own?

This year, I’m flipping the script. Instead of sulking over a lack of grand romantic gestures, I’m throwing a Galentine’s Dinner with my best single girlfriends. Think flowing wine, delicious food, fun (and slightly inappropriate) storytelling, and an endless supply of laughter. No awkward small talk, no pretending to love an overpriced seafood platter, and definitely no fake-smiling through a bad date. Just pure, unfiltered, girls-only fun.

And after that? Well, let’s just say I’ll be ending the night with the one partner who never lets me down—my vibrator.

Ways to Show Yourself Some Love This V-Day

If a Galentine’s gathering isn’t your vibe, there are plenty of other ways to treat yourself like the queen you are:

💖 Indulge in a sensual bath or shower – dim the lights, light a candle, and turn your bathroom into a self-care sanctuary.

🍕 Cook (or order) your favourite meal – because the real way to anyone’s heart is through food.

🎥 Watch your fave movie (or trashy reality TV) – no judgment, just guilty pleasures.

🛍 Treat yourself to a little retail therapy – new lingerie, new toy, new shoes… whatever makes you feel fab doll!

🍷 Pour a glass (or bottle) of wine and vibe out – because you don’t need a date to enjoy a good red.

Or, if you’re in the mood to spice things up, you can always spend the night getting to know some new girlfriends - Daisy, Polly, Lola, Marley, Mimi, Mabel or Willow—aka the vibrator collection from Seduction Society a brand-new Australian-owned sex toy brand. AND you can get 10% off with my discount code ‘LETSTALKABOUTSEX"‘

Their motto says it all:
“Celebrate your body, embrace your desires, and prioritise your pleasure—because sexual health is self-care.”

Now that is a Valentine’s message I can get behind.

So, whether you’re spending the night with your besties or your battery-operated bestie, just remember: you don’t need a Valentine when you’ve got yourself. 💋
